Install is not valid. What did I do wrong?

Im not sure what i did wrong.

wanted to test your product with a domain of a customer.

I wanted to test your software so i created the folder /purl/

I tried to use the Automatic feature but was unable to see the folder.

Tried the manual feature and Im not sure what i did wrong.

i put the .htaccess file in the PUR directory
and the index.php file in that directory.

When i check on the install it appears to be invalid.

Please advice.

Purlem will automatically create a new folder directory and name it correctly. So you are going to want to install in the public root directory of the domain. The .htaccess file also should be stored in the public root directory, NOT in the folder where the landing page is stored. Doing the automatic install will do this for you.

If you still have any questions let me know. Hope this helps.
